Overall Commercial Blog

Being that our project of making a commercial off of a product given was so long ago, I consider it as the practice run of all our projects. In this commercial, we were walked through and taught all the basics. These basics included, editing story boarding, and finally filming. I remember getting a brief explanation of the three before hand but it wasn't until we experienced for ourselves first hand before we really got the idea of them. This commercial was a lot of trial and error which was normal because it was our first time. We also in a sense were testing out our groups and seeing if working with these classmates would be a problem or not. Looking back at the project now, it really wasn't difficult and the reason we had trouble with it before was because it was all new. We took this one way to seriously then what we probably should have since it was our first grade in the class as well. I also consider this one to be one of the more fun ones because we got to work with Nike products which is a brand I wear often. We went through our fair share of struggles just as any other group would which again is expected. We did however get all the requirements for it done, got it in on time, and walked out with a high grade. We couldn't have asked for it to go better for our first time. Especially since to this day we as a group are still together.
