Overall Music Video Blog

This music video is different from the rest of our projects because it took a drastic turn in terms of our group mates. For this one, our group had a moment of weakness and split up. It was Eli and me for this assignment but that didn't stop us from giving this project our all. I remember getting the assignment in class and us two immediately start to pick out songs. We came up with the song Hey There Delilah and stuck with it throughout. Us two working together was very different. No only did we have to bring in another group mat, Peter, but we also had way more work then we usually would. I remember a sort of competition brewing between us two groups that gave us that extra drive to want to do the best that we could. We made all of our due dates and then some, trying to finish before Paige and Roscoe. We did all our filming in one go because we wanted to do it during a christmas celebration in young circle. After me and Eli split up the work fairly, we executed and got it all done. Our music video, despite the change in group, turned out good and we were happy. We weren't only happy about the grade but also the idea that we didn't need the other members of our previous group to get a good quality clip. In the end however, we ended up all back with each other because we felt we worked a lot more efficiently like that. The project itself taught us a lot and we familiarized ourselves with other jobs that we didn't do before. We also learned how to more effectively use out time wisely which proved to help us in later projects. I was glad that we got the opportunity to work without each other but now that it was out of the way, we came back to each other instantly.
